The National Assembly deliberated and adopted at its meeting of March 30, 2012, then at its meeting of December 17, 2012, for compliance with the Constitution following the decision DCC 12-153 of August 4, 2012, the law n ° 2012 -15 on the Code of Criminal Procedure in the Republic of Benin.

This law is inspired by the vision of its authors to offer fair criminal justice to all citizens of Benin without discrimination.
