Código de Defesa do Consumidor

The CDC - Consumer Protection Code, establishes standards for consumer protection and defense, public order and social interest. Its origin dates back to the Federal Constitution of Brazil/1988, which definitively established consumer protection as a citizen's fundamental right and guarantee (art. 170, V, CF).
