Mecharashi is a tactical role-playing game announced by Square Enix in April 2022. This game is part of the Front Mission saga, whose first game was released in 1995 for Super Nintendo. In these titles, you control giant mecha robots called "Wanzers", short for the German Wanderung Panzer, i.e., "walking tanks".
Its history encompasses a series of military conflicts and political tensions affecting different countries between the 21st and 22nd centuries. The latest installment of the saga was released in 2018 for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. In 2019, Left Alive, a game set in the same universe as the Front Mission saga, was released. This title changed the gameplay to become a survival game.
In Mecharashi, you will control the popular mecha robots. Located at coordinates 12° S and 91° W, you will enter a fertile land where two powerful global federations are about to start the so-called "Second Huffman War". A group of mercenaries will find themselves in the middle of this fight, and your objective will be to survive.
Mecharashi is being developed by Black Jack Studio, a subsidiary of developer Zlongame. This company has already worked on several games for mobile devices, including Langrisser Mobile.
