● Notes
This app is developed by an individual. It is not provided by GSI.

When using the Geographical Survey Institute tile, please see "About the use of the Geographical Survey Institute tile" on the Geographical Survey Institute website, and use it according to the GSI Content Terms of Use.

● How to use
When you install it, a folder called FieldStudyMap will be created in sdcard etc. (it depends on the model).
The following folders will be created in it.

output: Track log and point data are saved.
save: If you "save" the output data (track log, points) in the in-app menu, the data will move here.
export: When you "export" the output data, GIS files, GPS files, etc. will be created here.
input: Enter the GIS file, GPS file, etc. you want to display here.
cj: Stores a cache of JIIA tiles.
wms: WMS configuration files and cache are saved.

1. View Geographic Institute tiles
Select "Notes on using the GSI tile" in "Other" of the "Menu", and after confirming the contents, click the "Agree" button with the male and GAI button enabled, and press the GAI tile. Is displayed.
When the JEI tile is displayed, the background of the place where the map type name on the right of the JEI button is displayed is blue.
You can change the type of Geographical Institution tile to display by pressing this blue area.

2. Track log, record points
Track log recording can be started and stopped from the menu track.
It is not necessary to start the application while recording the track log.
Track log recording continues even if other applications are started.
Points are recorded from points on the menu.
Since there is a large error in the elevation value from GPS, there is a function to obtain the elevation value of the Geographical Survey Institute.
The Geographical Institute elevation value defaults to the elevation tile.
You can also use the more accurate (depending on the region) Geographic Elevation API, but it is fairly weighted to avoid overloading the server, which is quite time consuming and not generally recommended.

3. export
The output data above can be exported to shapefile, trk, and wpt files.
If you have obtained Geographical Institute elevation values, they will also be exported.

4. Display of GIS data, etc.
For the GIS file and GPS file you want to display, create a folder with an appropriate name in the input folder and put it there.
The folder name is displayed in the input data of the menu, so select the folder you want to display.
If you put the file directly in the input folder, it will be automatically read at startup.
The data files that can be read are points, polylines, polygons, and multipoints of the world geodetic system.
trk and wpt files are in the world geodetic system latitude/longitude decimal notation format.
You can put multiple files in one folder.
When you first load the shapefile, a dialog is displayed to select the attribute to use for the label.
Objects are color-coded according to the selected attribute.
Once you have selected an attribute, you can change it to another attribute in the display style settings.
The colors used for color coding are randomly determined.
To change the color, edit the color scheme specification file.

5. Use of WMS
In order to use WMS, you need to put the configuration file in the wms folder.
There is a function to create/edit a setting file in the other toolbox of the menu.
When you enter the setting file, the setting file name will be displayed on other WMS in the menu. Select the WMS you want to display.
The WMS button is displayed during WMS display.
When you press the button, the WMS display changes to semi-transparent and non-display.
Even if it is hidden, WMS information continues to be acquired. When you no longer need the WMS display, cancel it from the menu.

6. Use of map tiles
In order to use map tiles, you need to put the configuration file in the tiles folder.
There is a function to create/edit a setting file in the other toolbox of the menu.
When you insert the setting file, the setting file name will be displayed in the map tile of the menu, so select the map tile you want to display.
The zoom level offset is usually 0. If you specify a value other than 0, a tile with the zoom level of googlmap plus the offset is displayed. For high definition display models, 1 may be displayed better, but since the number of tiles displayed increases, memory and battery consumption will increase accordingly.
When using, follow the terms and conditions of the data provider.
Also, do not use it for map tiles whose direct access is prohibited by the Terms of Use.

7. Show original map tile
If you want to load the original map tiles, create a folder with an appropriate name in the tiles folder and put the map tiles there.

8. Sketch function
When you create or open a new sketch, the panel is displayed on the upper left of the map. You can write on the map by pressing the sketch and making it red. If you enable comments, you can enter comments for each writing. The saved sketch can be exported to a GIS file, etc.
