Constitution de Madagascar

The Constitution of the Republic of Madagascar was adopted following a referendum held on November 17, 2010. It was proclaimed on December 11 of that same year, and brought the country into its fourth republic by closing that of 1992 The country's very first constitution dated back to 1959.
Current constitution
By referendum of November 17, 2010, the population made its choice by direct universal suffrage on the change of the Constitution. It was proclaimed on December 11, 2010, to allow the organization in December 2013 of the first presidential and legislative elections of the Fourth Republic of Madagascar.
