አንብቤ በኤሌክትሮኒካዊ የመጽሃፍት ማከማቻ የታገዘ መተግበሪያ ሲሆን ለኢትዮጵያ ልጆች የንባብ ባህል ለማዳበር ይጥራል። በርዕሰ-ጉዳይ ላይ የተደረጉ ጥናቶች በግልጽ እንደሚያሳዩት ከሆነ በሃገራችን ዝቅተኛ የንባብ ባሕል እንዳለ እና መፅሃፍትንም ለማግኘት ለአንዳንድ ልጆች አስቸጋሪ ሊሆንባቸው ይችላል። የዚህ ተነሳሽነት መሥራቾች ለልጆች በተለይም በሞባይል ስልኮች መጽሀፍትን ስለመያዝ ለህፃናት መብት መሆን የለባቸውም ብሎ ማመን አይገባም። አንብቤ ልጆች መፃህፍትን በቀላሉ ሊያገኙበት እና ወላጆች ለልጆቻቸው መተግበርያውን በመጫን እና በማንበብ ለመጭው ትውልድ የማንበብ ልምድን እንዲያስፋፉ የሚረዳ ቦታን ለመፍጠር ተልዕኮውን ወስዷል።

Bookworm is an electronic book store app that strives to create a culture of reading and a love for books among Ethiopian children. Research done on the subject has clearly shown that there is a low culture of reading among them and accessing books may be difficult for some children.
The founders of this startup to believe that owning books should not be a privilege for children, especially during the digital age we live in where smartphones are becoming common personal tools.
Bookworm has made its mission to create a place for children to access books with ease, and to promote the habit of reading to children by their parents. As such, it has created an electronic platform to achieve these objectives.
