App Description
With this app you can monitor the best before date of the food in your supplies.
The data is stored locally on the smartphone and will not be synchronized with other smartphones.
The app is my private hobby project, which is developed in my free time. It is intended for private individuals and not for companies.
Functionality:
First, an article (unique) is recorded in the "article list" with its details and, if applicable, a picture. Then you can add the item to "Inventory", select the expiry date and enter the quantity. If the expiration date is approaching or the date is exceeded, a warning appears in the app. For the warning before the expiry date, the number of days can be defined for each article.
If the EAN code is entered (or scanned) for the article, you can directly edit the inventory or the article details via "Scan article". The article data can be loaded using the EAN code from OpenFoodFacts.org.
Test database:
To test or get to know the app, you can switch to a test database. This already contains some articles (is not an advertisement for the products).
Report bugs:
This app is constantly being developed and may still contain errors.
If you have noticed an error, please describe it exactly (how can it be adjusted), take screenshots if possible and send them to the email address listed below.
Known issues and bugs:
1. The sorting of the articles does not take into account the German umlauts. The SQLite database used does not support this sorting.
2. There is no popup notification. To check whether the best before date has passed, the app must be started.

Use at your own risk. Please create backups at regular intervals. The app is developed conscientiously, but I cannot accept any liability for damage caused by the app or data loss.
