It was officially founded on April 22, 2001, the feast of San Anselmo by Monsignor Rodolfo Valenzuela Nunes and Priests Bernardino P. Ness OSB; Waldemar P. Godoy and Sergio Peláez.

His studies, are located on the second floor of the Convent of Santo Domingo de Guzman, in Coban, Alta Verapaz, location it shares with its sister stations and other units of Radio Station System Tezulutlán.

Its programming is mainly generated in Q'eqchí languages, Spanish, Achi and poqomchi for the audience in urban and rural areas of the Diocese of the Diocese
