This app calculates the bearing and distance between two location sets of latitude and longitude. Its main purpose is to generate a course to steer between two waypoints but can also be used to calculate the bearing and distance from the current location to a new location. The calculation is based on the ‘haversine’ formula and therefore there is no accuracy guaranteed or implied, however it should be good enough for most purposes.
