Quran Mp3 Offline is an interesting and beautiful app that lets you listen to recitations of the sacred book of Islam, known as the Quran or Koran.
One of the translations of the word 'Quran' is 'the recitation.' This sacred book has always been designed not only as a simple text, but as something that must be transmitted orally. The reading of the Quran, the Tilawat (تلاوة), is considered to be one of the fine arts of the Muslim world, and thanks to Quran Mp3 Offline, you can easily access and enjoy these beautiful recitations.
The way the app works is extremely simple. Once you install and open it, you see the 'play' symbol and when you tap it, you have access to the different Surahs, the different chapters in which the Quran is organized (there are 114 Surahs in all). When you select one, you start hearing the recitation of the prayer. The first few Surahs last about six and a half minutes, and progressively diminish in length until you reach the last one that only about lasts 30 seconds. Every Surah (except for the ninth) starts with the same phrase, 'bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm,' so don't be surprised when you hear the same phrase at the beginning of each track - it's not a mistake.
