App Description
Mukhtar al-Sahah was written by Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr ibn Abd al-Qadir al-Razi, and he had shortened it from the crown of language and corrected Arabic, leaving the arrangement of its entries according to the traditional arrangement, i.e. starting with the letters of the late words.

And the dictionary of Mukhtar Al-Sahah was distinguished by its reference in many cases regarding weak, bad and Arabized words, and mentioned the words scarcity and opposites, and its attention to aspects of exchange such as derivation, substitution and reasoning.

The Mokhtar Al-Sahah dictionary was first published in two volumes at the Egyptian Bulaq Press in 1865, and the second edition was issued in 1957 with the investigation of Ahmed Abdel Ghafour Attar.

The editions of Mukhtar Al-Sahah and the increasing demand for it in a way that motivated the Egyptian Ministry of Education in the second decade of the twentieth century to sponsor the issuance of an edition of it in alphabetical order for easy use. This edition was spread in various sizes and reprinted several times.

The refinement of the Sahih was issued to Mahmoud bin Ahmed al-Zanjani in a good edition of the Dar al-Ma’arif by the investigation of Abd al-Salam Haroun and Ahmad Abd al-Ghafour Attar in the year 1953, and the arrangement of the Sahih was arranged. Words he deemed inappropriate to hear.
