Between the life from which it sprang and the writing in which it was fixed, passing through oral tradition, the Bible was wearing the forms of expression and communication of the various times and generations. The Biblical Diffuser was founded in 1955, having as main objective «to spread and make known the Word of God». Its first complete edition of the Holy Bible dates back to 1965.
New technologies have opened up almost limitless potential to take the Good News to the ends of the earth, following Jesus' mandate. Thus, in 2007, the text of the Holy Bible was made available for free on the internet, and in 2011 on mobile applications.
Now, in its own application, the text of the Sacred Scripture presented here, is that of the 1st edition according to the Orthographic Agreement of 1990, which dates from June 2015.
The Biblical Diffuser is an Editor of the Portuguese Capuchin Province, and with the biblical apostolate is one of the most visible expressions of Capuchin Franciscans in Portugal.
