Whispering Wind

Established in 1967, Whispering Wind is the longest lived publication on American Indian crafts, material culture, history, powwow dates. Each issue, 40-48 pages, features articles on Native American material culture, crafts, history and historical images. A popular feature is Powwow Fashions which looks at the ever changing clothing styles in the powwow arena. Each issue includes historical photo analysis as well as book and music reviews.
